Belarusian ambassador presents credentials to Kenyan president

MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kenya Dmitry Krasovsky has presented his credentials to President William Ruto of Kenya, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Dmitry Krasovsky conveyed greetings and special gratitude of President Aleksandr Lukashenko of Belarus for the warm welcome extended during his visit to Kenya in December 2023, as well as wishes for friendship and cooperation.

The diplomat reaffirmed Belarus’ commitment to further strengthening its cooperation with Kenya in all areas: political, trade, economic, educational, and cultural. He also renewed the invitation for the president of Kenya to pay his first official visit to Belarus, emphasizing that such a visit would mark an important milestone in the development of Belarus-Kenya relations.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, William Ruto wished the Belarusian ambassador success and expressed hope for fruitful joint work.
