MOSCOW, 2 February (BelTA) - Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik and Ambassador of Guinea-Bissau to Russia Alfredo Cristovao Gomes Lopes met to discuss cooperation in the political, trade and economic sectors, as well as the schedule of upcoming contacts between Minsk and Bissau, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
“Alfredo Cristovao Gomes Lopes emphasized the importance of his country's interaction with Belarus, first of all, in agriculture, and stressed that Belarusian developments and practical experience in this field are of interest to Guinea-Bissau. The Belarusian ambassador expressed hope for the participation of the delegation from Guinea-Bissau in the international agricultural exhibition Belagro in June 2025,” the press service said.
The ambassador of Guinea-Bissau also expressed interest in organizing training of students from his country in Belarusian universities in the whole range of specialties: from agriculture to healthcare.
“Aleksandr Rogozhnik stressed Belarus’ readiness to offer Guinea-Bissau the whole range of machine-building products with further organization of their servicing,” the embassy added.
