The current snowy and frosty winter has made it possible to hold a snow sculpture festival in Gomel. Over 10 snow blocks have been prepared on site, and sculptors from various Belarusian cities have begun their creative work. They are using ordinary saws, shovels, and masonry trowels as their primary tools. Soon, an open-air winter gallery will open in the center of Gomel, featuring a variety of snow compositions. The centerpiece of the exhibition will be a lynx, the animal depicted on the coat of arms of Gomel.
