MINSK, 28 February (BelTA) – An office of MAZ (Minsk Automobile Plant), the management company of the BelAvtoMaZ Holding Company, has officially opened in New Delhi, the company's press service told BelTA.
Andrei Kovalev, who was responsible for procurement oversight at MAZ, has been appointed head of the office. Taking part in the opening ceremony were Deputy Director General - Technical Director Aleksandr Kravchenko, Deputy Director General - Purchasing Director Denis Bernatsky, Deputy Director General - Commercial Director Sergei Shulyak.
The opening of the office is designed to facilitate efforts to build business ties with Indian manufacturers of components, raw materials and machine tools.
The MAZ delegation began its work in India on 26 February. Negotiations with potential partners of Minsk Automobile Plant have already taken place under the leadership of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to India Mikhail Kasko.
