MINSK, 10 November (BelTA) - Russia supports the initiative to hold the second military-economic conference of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states in Minsk in June 2026, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the CSTO Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation Denis Manturov said at the opening of the commission's meeting in Astana, TASS reports.
According to him, the CSTO member states “need to develop new formats for dialogue and exchange of competencies” and therefore the practice of holding congress and exhibition events should be encouraged. “In this context, we support the initiative to organize the second CSTO military-economic conference in Minsk next June as part of the business program of the National Security. Belarus 2026 international exhibition,” Denis Manturov said.
