MOSCOW, 8 May (BelTA) - There are no serious disputes in Belarusian-Russian relations, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on 8 May, BelTA has learned.

The president noted that Belarus is Russia’s main partner in terms of mutual trade within the post Soviet space. “With such enormous volumes nearly $60 billion already of course, there will always be some issues. But we have lived decently through all these years. We have never had any serious disputes. There are one or two matters that we discuss and task our governments to solve,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

“And today I was also thinking: there are probably one and a half issues that you and I will discuss. The rest is our Great Victory [the celebration of Victory Day]. Thank you for the invitation,” Aleksandr Lukashenko added.
