MINSK, 3 December (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Aleksei Bogdanov has been elected Chairman of the CIS Interstate Council for Antimonopoly Policy for the period of 2025-2026, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART).
“Following the 57th meeting of the CIS Interstate Council for Antimonopoly Policy in Samarkand, all participants supported the nomination of Aleksei Bogdanov as the chairman of the CIS Interstate Council for Antimonopoly Policy for the period of 2025-2026,” the press service noted.
Aleksei Bogdanov thanked Maksim Shaskolsky, Head of Russia’s Federal Anti-Monopoly Service, for his great contribution and work during his chairmanship of the council in 2023-2024 and presented hin with the jubilee medal ‘100 Years of the Belarusian Trade Bodies’ for services to cooperation with the MART, including on a bilateral basis.
The CIS Interstate Council for Antimonopoly Policy was established on 23 December 1993 by the CIS states - participants to the agreement on a coordinated anti-monopoly policy.
