MINSK, 29 July (BelTA) – Belarus' Industry Minister Piotr Parkhomchik had a working meeting with Perm Territory Governor Dmitry Makhonin who is on an official visit to Belarus, BelTA learned from the Industry Ministry of Belarus.
Belarus and Perm Territory have a history of friendly and mutually beneficial relations. During the meeting on 29 July the parties reaffirmed their commitment to expanding and deepening cooperation, launching innovative projects, setting up factories to assemble Belarusian equipment in Perm Territory, and expanding partnerships in science, technology and education.
At the invitation of the governor, a delegation of Belarusian industrialists and entrepreneurs will visit Perm Territory in the coming months to study its production, investment, transport and logistics potential.
The parties agreed to sign a detailed cooperation road map specifying cooperation avenues and terms by the end of this year.
