ST. PETERSBURG, 25 October (BelTA) – During a working trip to St. Petersburg Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko visited Petersburg Tractor Plant (an enterprise of Kirovsky Zavod Group), BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian head of government was made familiar with results of manufacturing cooperation between Belarusian enterprises and St. Petersburg ones taking into account the use of a broad range of Belarusian components and parts in end products. For instance, the share of Belarusian components in a Kirovets tractor is 23%.
Kirovsky Zavod Group is one of Russia’s largest industrial groups. The company makes tractors, drilling equipment, equipment for heat power engineering and hydropower engineering as well as other products.
A Belarusian government delegation led by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko is in St. Petersburg on a visit. Roman Golovchenko took part in a session of the council for business cooperation between Belarus and St. Petersburg. Visits to industrial facilities and fairs of Belarusian goods in St. Petersburg are also supposed to take place.
Minsk Days are taking place in St. Petersburg on 24-25 October. The program of the event includes a fair of Belarusian enterprises, an exhibition of mechanical engineering products as well as business events and cultural ones.
