MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – In January-February 2019 Belarus' exports increased by almost 16% to Indonesia and by more than 22% to Singapore in comparison with the same period last year, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Indonesia.
In the first two months of 2019 the Belarusian export to Indonesia almost reached $30 million (up 16% from January-February 2018). In 2018 the mutual trade reached a record high of $257.7 million, including $227.3 million in exports. The export of Belarusian goods to Indonesia reached record-high figures over 25 years of diplomatic relations between the two states.
Belarus' main exports to Indonesia include potash fertilizers, automotive vehicles, tires, polyamide, medical furniture and equipment.
In January-February 2019 Belarus' exports to Singapore reached almost $4 million (up more than 22% from the same months in 2018). Last year Belarus' main exports to Singapore were lubricating oils, aluminum, wire from unalloyed steel, copper and electric appliances. The total exports in 2018 made up $18.5 million. The total mutual trade reached almost $51 million.
