WTA rankings: Sabalenka keeps the lead, Sasnovich, Azarenka out of Top 100

MINSK, 19 August (BelTA) – Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka continues to lead the WTA rankings ahead of the season's final Grand Slam tournament, the US Open, BelTA has learned.

Aryna Sabalenka, who reached the Cincinnati Open quarterfinal, now holds 11,225 ranking points. Poland's Iga Świątek, the Cincinnati Open champion, moved up to second place, pushing Coco Gauff of the USA to third. Other Belarusian players saw rankings shifts: Aleksandra Sasnovich dropped to 121st, while Victoria Azarenka remains outside the Top 100 at 133rd.

In the ATP rankings, Italy's Jannik Sinner maintains a firm lead with 11,480 points, followed by Spain's Carlos Alcaraz (9,590) and Germany's Alexander Zverev (6,230). Belarus' top male player, Erik Arutiunian, sits at 491st.
