Tsmoki Minsk to open Basketball Champions League 2020-21 season against Balkan Botevgrad

MINSK, 16 July (BelTA) - The official draw ceremony for the 2020-2021 season of the Basketball Champions League took place in Mies, Switzerland on 15 July, BelTA has learned.

BC Tsmoki Minsk will face Balkan Botevgrad at the start of the season. Games will be played home and away on 15 and 18 September. The winner will play either London Lions or Neptunas Klaipeda on 22 and 25 September.

If successful in the qualification round the Minsk Dragons will get into Group D of the regular season. There, they will face AEK Athens, Brose Bamberg, Cholet, Fortitudo Bologna, Hapoel Holon, Retabet Bilbao, Pinar Karsiyaka. The Champions League group stage will kick off on 1 3 October.
