MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) – Belarus’ Aliaksandra Piatrova failed to qualify for the 25m Pistol Women’s Rapid final at the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, BelTA has learned.
Two month ago the Belarusian clinched bronze in the event at the ISSF European Shooting Championships. The Olympic qualification featured 40 athletes. Aliaksandra Piatrova scored 288 in precision claiming 23rd spot and 278 in rapid (40th).
Aliaksandra Piatrova scored a total of 566 points to finish 39th in the overall standings. The Saturday final will feature eight athletes.
Earlier, Darya Chuprys of Belarus placed 24th in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Women's Qualification.
