Belarus NOC president sends birthday greetings to Irina Leparskaya

MINSK, 27 July (BelTA) – President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko has extended birthday greetings to head coach of the Belarusian national rhythmic gymnastics team Irina Leparskaya who turned 65 on 27 July, BelTA learned from the NOC press service.

The head of the National Olympic Committee pointed out that the development and strengthening of the best traditions of the national rhythmic gymnastics school would be impossible without the hard work of the entire national team. “You are an outstanding coach and tutor, wonderful mentor. You have trained a great number of champions whom the country is proud of. Your unique experience, talent and skills have helped you and the entire national team to achieve great success, to get respect from your foreign counterparts, who recognize you as one of the most trusted experts in the world of rhythmic gymnastics,” the message of greetings runs. Viktor Lukashenko wished Irina Leparskaya strong health, wellbeing, success and new victories for the development of Belarusian sport.

Irina Leparskaya has contributed to the development of many famous athletes, including Olympic champion Marina Lobatch, medalists of the Olympics, world and European championships Yulia Raskina, Inna Zhukova, Liubov Charkashyna, Ksenia Sankovich, Alina Harnasko and other Belarusian rhythmic gymnastics.
