MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) - The Belarusian national football team goes 94th in the recently published rankings of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), BelTA has learned.
Since the publication of the previous rankings (24 December 2021) Georgy Kondratiev's team has not played and goes with 1233.43 points. The Belarusian footballers will hold matches as part of the training camp in Bahrain. Belarus will first face India in Manama on 26 March, and Bahrain on 29 March. The Belarusian team has never played these teams before. Bahrain currently goes 89th, India – 104th in the FIFA.
Among the post Soviet Union states Ukraine ranks the highest (27th). Russia goes 35th, Uzbekistan – 85th, Georgia – 86th, Armenia – 92nd, Kyrgyzstan – 96th, Estonia – 106th, Tajikistan – 115th, Kazakhstan – 120th, Azerbaijan – 121st, Turkmenistan – 134th, Latvia – 135th, Lithuania – 137th and Moldova – 181st.
