GRODNO, 11 April (BelTA) - On Holy Saturday, Orthodox churches are traditionally filled with parishioners. On the eve of the blessed holiday, believers come to church to pray and prepare for the arrival of Easter. Everyone are patiently waiting for the priests to bless the Easter cakes, eggs, and other foods for the festive tables on Sunday.
Residents of Grodno are also visiting churches, including the Holy Nativity of the Mother of God Convent in Grodno where Mother Superior Gavriila, is blessing the Easter foods.
