MINSK, 18 March (BelTA) - We are working on new tourist routes across the regions of Belarus, Director of the National Tourism Agency of Belarus Dmitry Morozov said in an interview with BelTA.
“This is very important work, which is currently underway. Our goal is to create recommendations for each district regarding what tourists should see first during their 5-6-hour trip. Tourists can visit the belarus.travel website or check the informational resources of local sports and tourism departments, district and city executive committees and tourist information centers to find ready-made routes that feature the most notable and interesting landmarks worth visiting in each region,” Dmitry Morozov stressed.
A total of 118 routes will be presented. They can be seen as the calling cards of the regions. “We are reorganizing the website materials to make navigation more convenient for both tourists and specialists in the tourism industry,” he added.
The website of the National Tourism Agency offers a calendar of events in Belarus. Previously, it included events for the entire year, but now the information is published seasonally. “We focus on offers that are available during specific time periods,” Dmitry Morozov noted.
