Nazism turns into fascism in Ukraine, Lukashenko says

MINSK, 2 July (BelTA) - The main danger in Ukraine is that Nazism turns into fascism, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a meeting in the run-up to Independence Day on 2 July, BelTA has learned.

“The danger in Ukraine is that Nazism turns into fascism. With the support of the European Union (I have already talked about this), this fascism (not nationalism, not Nazism, but fascism) will come to them, to Europe. I know for sure that the overwhelming majority of Europeans do not want it,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

The head of state said that Europeans, as well as Americans, are used to do everything by someone else's hands. “When this fascism comes to them, either from Ukraine or some other places, they will have to fight it brutally at home, on their land, maybe even harder than Russia is doing it today in Ukraine. They will have to fight it in Germany, France, England, Spain. I want to ask them: Have you really forgotten how it was eight decades ago? There are still living witnesses, a lot is written about it – read it,” the president said.
