The head of state noted that the situation in the world is not easy and one can regret this, but on the other hand, this is a time of opportunity and it has prompted us to produce more Belarusian. “The situation in the world is not easy. I don't want to scare anyone. Of course, the number one task for us now is to promote import substitution,” the head of state said. According to him, there are some problems in this area, but this prompted the Belarusians to reduce imports. “We are having a hard time as we were affected by the pressure that was put on Russia,” the president added.
According to him, a lot has already been done to address this issue. Cooperation with friendly countries, such as, for example, Russia and China, will be scaled up. The president also mentioned his recent meeting with the Indian ambassador. He said that cooperation with this country should advance to a brand new level and reach such indicators as cooperation with China.
“We have to hold out, to survive these hardships. Everyone should do their own thing,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
