ST PETERSBURG, 30 December (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has given a New Year gift to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, BelTA has learned.
According to the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel, gifts are always a very interesting aspect of Aleksandr Lukashenko's visits.
“The visit to St. Petersburg was no exception. As always, the Belarusian president brought a gourmet food gift basket with Belarus' best products, like sausages, cheeses. And also a set of glasses made by Neman Glassworks,” the Telegram channel wrote.
A reminder, on 29 December Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin held talks in St. Petersburg and took part in a friendly hockey match. It was preceded by the CIS informal summit in St. Petersburg.
