MINSK, 10 August (BelTA) - Kyrgyzstan President Sooronbay Jeenbekov has congratulated Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko on the victory at the presidential election, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“The results of the election vividly demonstrate that Belarusian citizens broadly support your commitment to protecting national interests and strengthening civil accord,” the message of greetings reads. “I am convinced that your rich experience and professionalism will help further improve people's wellbeing and ensure a high level of Belarus' political and economic development.”
The president of Kyrgyzstan expressed confidence that the bilateral relations relying on old traditions of friendship, mutual respect and cooperation will be developing and enhancing for the benefit of the two nations.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov wished Aleksandr Lukashenko strong health and wellbeing. He also wished Belarusian people peace and prosperity.
