MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) - By launching a drone attack on Moscow the Kiev regime may be attempting to disrupt the emerging trend toward a peace settlement, spokesman for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov said at a press briefing, TASS reports.

The spokesman pointed out that no concrete peace talks are underway yet, and even now, in Saudi Arabia, "Americans, according to them, are trying to understand how ready Ukraine is for peace talks."

"There is nothing to disrupt yet, but they can try to damage the emerging trend. This is true," he stated. He also noted that Russia took all preparatory measures to repel the drone attack from Ukraine in advance.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 337 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down over Russian regions on the night of 11 March, including 91 in Moscow Oblast. The attack was the largest in 2025. Russia's Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case under the "terrorist act" charge. According to the latest data from the Russian Ministry of Health, three people were killed as a result of this attack. 18 people were injured, including three children.
