Rumas, Mishustin discuss resumption of oil supplies to Belarus

MINSK, 23 March (BelTA) - Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Rumas had a telephone conversation with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on 22 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

During the conversation, the Belarusian head of government thanked Mikhail Mishustin for the decision to let citizens of the Republic of Belarus to return to Belarus through the territory of the Russian Federation using air and other checkpoints (Russian government's executive order 685p of 20 March 2020).

The parties discussed the resumption of oil supplies to ensure the full-capacity operation of the Belarusian oil refineries.

The parties also talked over integration cooperation in the Belarus-Russia Union State, the Eurasian Economic Union and the progress in the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.

Sergei Rumas and Mikhail Mishustin agreed that constructive cooperation will help further strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation.
