MINSK, April 7 (BelTA) - A reset of relations with Belarus would be in Poland’s interest, Krzysztof Bosak, Deputy Speaker of the Polish Sejm, one of the leaders of the far-right Confederation Party, said on the air of the Radio Zet broadcaster.
When asked by the radio host if Warsaw should reset relations with Minsk following the US example, Krzysztof Bosak said that such a move would be in Poland’s interest. At the same time, the politician noted that the two countries are currently in ‘very hostile relations’ and that it will be difficult for the Polish authorities to change this trend.
According to the deputy speaker, Poland became too involved in the attempts to change the political regime in Belarus several years ago. Now, with nothing to show for it, Warsaw is paying the price for those efforts.
