Open, friendly nature of Belarus-Mongolia relations noted at meeting in Belarusian MFA

MINSK, 7 April (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Belarus Batsukh Bayarsaikhan on 7 April on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

The head of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked the ambassador for his active work to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

The sides noted the open and friendly nature of Belarusian-Mongolian relations, the high level of political contacts, and the presence of significant prospects for increasing the intensity of economic ties.

The ambassador’s role was emphasized in expanding contacts between the two countries, including the organization of the visit of the Belarusian head of state to Mongolia in 2024.

The parties also discussed matters related to holding events in the political and economic spheres that directly affect the intensity of bilateral cooperation.
