MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) – The next meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council will take place in Turkmenistan on 7 October, TASS learned from CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev.
“A decision has been made to hold the next meeting of the Foreign Ministers Council in Turkmenistan on 7 October. It will take place ahead of the CIS Heads of State Council meeting scheduled for 9 October,” he said following the CIS Foreign Ministers Council meeting in Moscow.
Earlier, Turkmenistan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Gurbanov stated that the CIS Heads of State Council meeting is planned to be held in the national tourist zone Avaza.
