MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) - The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan signed a cooperation program for 2025-2026. The ceremony took place following another round of the Belarusian-Kyrgyz ministerial consultations in Bishkek chaired by Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Nazaruk and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Asein Isaev of Kyrgyzstan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties considered a wide range of topical issues of bilateral relations with an emphasis on cooperation in integration organizations (EAEU, CIS, CSTO) and in international organizations (UN, OSCE, etc.).
"The heads of delegations expressed satisfaction with the state of cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, and also reaffirmed their commitment to promoting it in the future," the press service informed. "Following the consultations the parties signed the program of cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan for 2025-2026.”
During the consultations, Igor Nazaruk also had a brief meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubayev of Kyrgyzstan. "The parties discussed the prospects for the development of Belarusian-Kyrgyz relations both in a bilateral format and in regional and universal international organizations," the press service informed.
