MINSK, 4 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian Embassy in Kazakhstan hosted a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kazakhstan Aleksei Bogdanov and Dmitry Ostankovich, deputy chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, chairman of the Association of Belarusian Cultural Centers of the Republic of Kazakhstan Rodny Kut, the embassy told BelTA.
The meeting addressed a number of important matters of Belarus-Kazakhstan cultural cooperation. The parties also discussed the upcoming visit by the Belarusian ambassador to the public association Belarusian Community of Kostanay Oblast.
In addition, the parties touched upon the organization of joint events, in particular the Day of National Unity, a meeting between the head of the diplomatic mission and the leaders and members of Belarusian cultural centers in Kazakhstan, and the holding of a Belarusian Cuisine Day.
