Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina discuss cooperation prospects

MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina (non-resident) Aleksandr Ponomarev has met with Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

On the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic mission Aleksandr Ponomarev paid a working visit to Sarajevo on 21-22 February 2022.

“The parties exchanged views on regional security and the domestic political situation in the two countries. They pointed to the unacceptability of sanctions against the two countries on the part of the collective West,” the foreign ministry noted.

The parties also discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations, with a focus on trade and economic cooperation.
