ISTANBUL, 13 June (BelTA - Anadolu) - The fifth edition of the Istanbul
Digital Art Festival opened at the city’s Ataturk Cultural Center, with
Anadolu serving as its global communication partner.
Following a preview in Paris, Türkiye’s first and only international digital art festival is being held through Sunday under the theme “searching_connection…”
On its opening day, Türkiye’s first AI-powered social robots drew attention from visitors. The festival features works by 80 artists from Türkiye and abroad, as well as children’s and youth workshops, theater performances, digital shows, robot demonstrations, panels and audiovisual performances.
Among the featured works is “Memory Anadolu,” an AI-generated piece by Ouchhh Studio, created using millions of photographs from Anadolu’s visual archive and curated by Samed Karagoz.
The festival also offers a multi-sensory experience at its “Immersive Dome,” located in the outdoor exhibition area.
Organizers say the event aims to make digital art accessible to a wider audience through curated digital and mixed media works.
