MOSCOW,
7 May (BelTA - TV BRICS) - The 21st forum-exhibition "GOSZAKAZ" will
take place from 13 to 15 May at the Skolkovo Innovation Centre in
Moscow. The forum will bring together, on a single platform, contracting
authorities and suppliers of goods and services for procurement in
construction, healthcare, energy, education and other sectors from
across all regions of the Russian Federation and various countries
worldwide. The TV BRICS International Media Network will act as the
international media partner of the event.
More than 10,000 guests and participants are expected to attend the forum, including representatives of government, business and the expert community. One of the most pressing topics for discussion in the sphere of international economic cooperation will be the integration of public and corporate procurement systems of the BRICS+ countries and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
“The forum-exhibition 'GOSZAKAZ' is a well-established platform for addressing practical challenges in the field of procurement. For over 20 years, the forum has facilitated constructive dialogue both among contracting authorities at various levels and suppliers across a broad range of goods,” noted Russia’s Minister of Industry and Trade and member of the organising committee of the forum-exhibition "GOSZAKAZ", Anton Alikhanov.
The forum programme includes a plenary discussion titled “GOSZAKAZ: a course towards technological sovereignty”, as well as expert sessions such as “Mediation in corporate procurement”, “The future is near: artificial intelligence in procurement”, “Strategically important procurement in a closed environment”, and others.
“During the expert discussion, we plan to address the harmonisation of national and supranational regulation of public procurement and to hear the views of experts from Belarus, China, India, Indonesia, Iran, and Ethiopia. The large-scale restructuring of logistics chains [...] has made the integration of public and corporate procurement systems of the BRICS+ countries and the EAEU one of the most relevant topics in international economic cooperation. Development pathways have been outlined. The convergence of economies will continue within the framework of the BRICS–Russia Expert Council,” said Professor Aleksey Lavrov, Head of the HSE project "Public Procurement in BRICS Countries".
Forum participants will be able to discuss key partnership issues, pose questions to representatives of federal sectoral ministries, and take part in discussions dedicated to procurement in construction and housing and utilities, healthcare, energy, education, and enlightenment, as well as the restoration of cultural heritage sites.
