MOSCOW, 25 December (BelTA) – Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik and Governor of Russia’s Vladimir Oblast Alexander Avdeyev have agreed to implement major joint projects extending beyond construction, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.
On 24 December the region’s largest educational complex opened in the town of Suzdal. This 1,200-seat facility was built by Belarusian specialists. Discussions are also underway regarding the potential construction of a new stadium in the region by a Belarusian company.
“We have doubled our bilateral trade turnover in five years. This year, we will reach a milestone – half a billion in trade. These are excellent figures, great dynamic. We ended 2024 with 20% growth, and we are concluding this year with 8% growth; the numbers speak for themselves,” Aleksandr Rogozhnik told reporters following talks with the governor.
“We have identified significant projects for further progress, and not just in construction,” the ambassador added.
According to him, cooperation between Belarus and Vladimir Oblast is developing robustly in mechanical engineering and high-tech industries.
