SMOLEVICHI DISTRICT, 3 September (BelTA) – Haihongbel Medical Scientific and Technical Company, a resident company of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone, will produce medical equipment, the company’s Director General Chen Chao said on the sidelines of the Chinese Goods and Services Exhibition held at the park’s trade and exhibition center, BelTA has learned.
Haihongbel Medical Scientific and Technical Company is part of the HAIHONG company, a subsidiary of the SINOMACH Group. The company specializes in advanced, adaptable medical projects in 3D printing of medical products. It provides rehabilitation and diagnostic equipment for the Belarusian market.
“Our technologies are already being used in some institutions. We are cooperating with the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry. We are also opening a plant in Belarus to produce equipment so that in the future the country will not face negative consequences from sanctions imposed against it. We have already produced a trial batch. But the plant is not yet fully operational, although it has been built. We plan to start operations in the near future, at the beginning of 2026,” Chen Chao said.
According to him, 7-8 different types of equipment for orthopedics, therapy, and rehabilitation medicine will be manufactured in the Great Stone Industrial Park.
Chen Chao emphasized that Belarus and China are friendly countries with close relations. “Our company was among the first to become a resident of the industrial park,” he noted. “When we first took part in an exhibition using this platform, we realized that this market is very interesting for us. China was also once under sanctions from Western countries, so we understand your situation very well and we want to help in this area so that we can develop together and achieve better results. In addition, we support the policy of our leader, President Xi Jinping of China: we are promoting the Belt and Road Initiative. Belarus is also part of this initiative.”
The Chinese Goods and Services Exhibition is taking place in the Great Stone Industrial Park for the fourth time and will run until 5 September. The theme is “Science and Technology”. More than 120 leading Chinese enterprises from various provinces, cities, and regions of China have come to Belarus to participate. The event is organized by CMEC International Exhibition, a Chinese company that is part of the SINOMACH Group, in cooperation with Great Stone Industrial Park Development Company.
