MINSK, 7 April (BelTA) – The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) have signed an updated cooperation agreement during the Great Business Day business event, BelTA has learned.

Head of the administration of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone Tatiana Kharlap said that the park and the chamber maintain active cooperation dynamics and are expanding the scope of applied interests. “Today we have signed an updated agreement between the industrial park and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which formalizes the arrangements for the present and future periods,” she emphasized.

BelCCI Chairman Mikhail Myatlikov added that cooperation between the chamber and the park is aimed at achieving the main goal: facilitating the development of Belarusian private sector and its successful promotion on foreign markets. Today the parties have officially formalized their cooperation by signing the updated agreement.

Among its priorities are advising park residents and investors on certification of the origin of goods and products, works, and services of their own make, commodity expert evaluation, assessment of civil rights objects, and other matters; the organization of exhibitions, fairs, and other events in the park’s territory, and participation of park residents in international projects of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Apart from that, promoting information about the park’s activities among Belarusian and foreign investors, foreign chambers of commerce and industry, and other business associations is a priority.

“Certainly, these are only the main areas of cooperation. The agreement itself covers more spheres for partnership. Thus, the agreement will become a roadmap for further and even more active work of the BelCCI and Great Stone for the benefit of our member companies and residents,” noted Mikhail Myatlikov.

As part of the Great Business Day program resident companies of the industrial park as well as partners of the Great Stone industrial park and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry learned about the advantages available to BelCCI members, the conditions for procurement in the territory of the EAEU, the grounds for preferences in public procurement procedures in the Republic of Belarus, and also identified new growth points for business in the region’s markets.
