MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – A meeting with Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Moldova in the Republic of Belarus Nicolae Miinea took place in the Belarusian Hi Tech Park, BelTA has learned.
Nicolae Miinea got familiar with the legal conditions of the IT industry of Belarus, history and importance of the Hi Tech Park for the country's economy. The unique developments of the residents were also discussed.
The Moldovan diplomat highly appreciated the achievements of the park and spoke about the IT sector of Moldova. This is the most progressive industry in the country: its share in the GDP is 7%. In 2018, an IT park was set up in Moldova, which is rapidly developing today.
The parties agreed to intensify bilateral cooperation in IT.
