MINSK, 11 November (BelTA) – Belarusian Economy Minister Aleksandr Chervyakov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Xie Xiaoyong have signed a Belarusian-Chinese intergovernmental agreement on preparing a feasibility study, the Economy Ministry press service told BelTA.
In line with the agreement the Chinese government will allocate technical and economic aid for carrying out studies as part of the project, which envisages building the second substation for supplying electricity to the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone.
The work proceeds in line with a memorandum signed by the Belarusian Economy Ministry and the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) on 12 September 2019 with a view to developing the industrial park through technical and economic aid.
