MINSK, 17 January (BelTA) – Amkodor plans to deliver about 250 units of machinery to Nicaragua in 2026, Deputy Director of Amkodor’s Marketing Center Aleksei Zhdanok said on the air of the STV TV channel, BelTA has learned.
“At present, we are implementing a major contract with the Republic of Nicaragua. In 2025, around 150 units were already delivered. In 2026, we plan to complete the contracts ahead of schedule and ship about 250 units,” Aleksei Zhdanok said.
According to him, work is also underway to conclude subsequent contracts. “For us, this market serves as a springboard for entering the markets of all Central America,” Aleksei Zhdanok emphasized.
As it was reported earlier, in late 2025 the second batch of the Amkodor machinery was handed over to Nicaragua. The shipment included four Amkodor 352 front loaders, eight Amkodor 732 backhoe loaders, and 24 Amkodor 211 skid-steer loaders. The ceremony to hand over the first batch of machines took place in early December last year.
