MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – The Washington Capitals forward Aliaksei Protas of Belarus has extended its point streak in the Capitals’ recent 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2024/25 NHL regular season, BelTA has learned.

With 15 minutes into the game Alex Ovechkin, getting a feed from Aliaksei Protas, scored the game’s first goal, leaving himself six goals shy of surpassing Wayne Gretzky’s career goals. Adding a recent assist, the Belarusian forward extended its point streak to three games.
