MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk have finished the regular season of the 2025/2026 Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) with a victory, BelTA has learned.
In their final regular season game, Dmitri Kvartalnov’s team hosted HC Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg. By the seventh minute, the Minsk side was already leading 2-0, with Sergei Kuznetsov scoring both goals for the home side. Shortly before the first intermission, Sam Anas made it 3-0. In the second period, the Minsk Bisons kept pouring it on: Daniil Lipsky, Darren Dietz and Sam Anas again all got on the scoresheet. Late in the period, the visitors finally managed to get one back.
In the third period, Kuznetsov completed his hat-trick, while Daniil Sotishvili added another for the hosts. The visitors could only manage a single goal in response, as HC Dinamo Minsk cruised to an 8-2 victory – one of their most emphatic wins of the season. For the first time in history, the team finished second in the Western Conference with 88 points from 68 matches. The Minsk club will begin their Gagarin Cup playoff campaign at Minsk-Arena on 24 March.
