Unique Radziwill Bible to go on public display in Brest

MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) – The presentation of the Bible of Brest, or the so-called Radziwill Bible will take place in the Brest History Museum on 14 January, BelTA learned from Deputy Director of the National Library Ales Susha.

“Aleksandr Lukashenko presented the bible to Brest in September 2019 as the city celebrated its millennium birthday. This edition is very interesting and well-preserved. It contains a great number of various side notes that can tell a lot about the history of this rarity,” Ales Susha said.

In his words, the municipal authorities purchased the most advanced equipment for the presentation and the further display of this unique item. “We suggested various types of glass cases and equipment available in Belarus and our Brest colleagues chose the best option,” he said.
