
MINSK, 23 April (BelTA) - A 6.2 magnitude earthquake shoot Istanbul, Türkiye on 23 April. BelTA contacted the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the information presented by the Belarusian Consulate General located in Istanbul.
The diplomats noted that the earthquake was followed by a series of aftershocks. There is no visible damage to buildings, people stay out in the streets.
“No Belarusian nationals have contacted the Consulate General to ask for assistance,” the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. “Diplomats continue to perform their duties.”
