MINSK, 9 December (BelTA) – Two-time Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics Svetlana Khorkina and stage director Ekaterina Sirotina (Russia) as well as Chairperson of the Belarusian Gymnastics Association Yelena Skripel told the ONT TV channel about their impressions of the performances of athletes and artists at the sports and entertainment show Time of Our Victories that took place at the Minsk Arena on 7 December, BelTA reports.
Ekaterina Sirotina noted that she had a great time watching Time of Our Victories. “A stunning, beautiful show, incredibly spectacular and flamboyant,” she noted. “All the entries had a message and style!”
Svetlana Khorkina added that such a large-scale show deserves attention. “All the teams and all the sports deserved to be seen by the president. I really enjoy it. I like the name - Time of Our Victories. They, the victories, continue,” she said.
Yelena Skripel emphasized that the Belarusian school of gymnastics is unique. “Indeed, it has its own path, its own approaches. And, of course, there is a result. Today, we are moving forward despite all the difficulties, trials and challenges,” she said.
