GRODNO, 5 February (BelTA) - The signature local festival Morino Goldfish celebrating its 10th anniversary, will gather lovers of outdoor recreation, cozy atmosphere, and aromatic, smoky fish soup in Ivye District on 14 February, BelTA learned from the culture department of the Ivye District Executive Committee.
The highlight of this delicious festival is a contest for the best fish soup. According to the organizers, participants will engage in a culinary showdown, revealing the secrets of their signature recipes. Teams from local organizations and residents of the Morino agro-town will compete, with each preparing their fish soup according to their own unique recipe. The finale will be a tasting session to determine the winners based on a final cooked sample. All of this will take place to the music and songs of local pop and folk groups.
The tenth edition of festival also includes fishing-themed amusements and fun contests, exhibitions and fairs of souvenir and handicraft products. Young guests and their parents will be invited to the children's play area Snowy Fun and everyone will have the opportunity to take photos together in themed photo zones.
