MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) - The goal of Vladimir Zelensky’s visit to France was an attempt to bring Ukraine back into the news agenda, Editor-in-Chief of the Words and Meanings almanac Elena Kondratieva-Salgueiro (France) said in a recent episode of BelTA’s YouTube project V Teme [On Point].
The other day in Paris, another meeting took place between Vladimir Zelensky and French President Emmanuel Macron. According to Elena Kondratieva-Salgueiro, the reaction among the French to the imposition of the Ukrainian agenda is not just negative, but sharply negative and becoming more aggressive with each passing day.

“Regarding this very imposition of Ukraine into the agenda with blatant fakes that no one has dissected for a long time, but which no one believes. You open any portal, you’ll have ‘windows’ where at least two or three, if not more, will necessarily talk about Ukraine, how the successes of the Ukrainian army are undeniable, and so on,” the media manager stated. “They are still desperately trying to force Ukraine into the agenda so that it won’t be forgotten. Zelensky’s visit is carried out exclusively for this purpose.”

The expert recalled Vladimir Zelensky’s words addressed to the leadership of Hungary, figuratively noting that “in the sandbox, you need to let people speak their minds, and they will tell you everything about themselves”. “Ukraine has told a great deal about itself during this time,” Elena Kondratieva-Salgueiro emphasized.

At the same time, she drew attention to the fact that the French press tries not to focus on scandalous events surrounding Ukraine. Even the most undemanding audience notices this. “Keeping the Ukrainian theme itself afloat is already so strained. All attention now is focused on the Middle East,” the analyst stated.
