MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) - Executive discipline and further improvement of product quality is one of the conditions for our success on the world markets, independent military analyst Aleksandr Alesin told BelTA as he commented on the directive “On improving the functioning of the system of government bodies and administration, strengthening executive discipline” the president signed on 2 April.
According to the expert, work to find new or develop existing markets for products remains important and relevant for Belarus under the sanctions. “One of the important conditions for us to be successful there is to further improve the quality and technical perfection of our products. If these measures are not taken, we will not be able to compete there. After all, the products of the leading capitalist countries and China are penetrating the markets we are working with,” he said.
According to Aleksandr Alesin, the announced five-year quality program is designed to solve these matters, among others. “The most important thing is that our products are manufactured in accordance with design and technological documentation. What is written must be fulfilled to the last comma. As a person who has worked at the plant for 18 years, I can say: the final product depends on how specialists work at their workplaces. Roughly speaking, if someone did not do something properly, the product will fail sooner that the prescribed period,” the expert explained.
The same applies to agriculture he added. “Our agricultural products can become one of the leading sectors of our exports. Food becomes an invaluable resource in conditions when sowing areas are shrinking, when the climate is deteriorating. Therefore, adherence to technological discipline in agriculture, compliance with all norms and rules will be of tremendous importance. The president is absolutely right in setting the accents,” Aleksandr Alesin said.
