MINSK, 10 June (BelTA) - The CIS Plenipotentiaries Council will hold a meeting in Brest on 21 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
The CIS plenipotentiaries will summarize the results of the meeting of the CIS Heads of Government Council which took place in Minsk on 28 May and will outline the tasks for the implementation of the adopted documents and agreements. They will also discuss the activities of the CIS Tourism Council and hold a seminar with a presentation of the tourist potential of Belarus and Brest Oblast.
The plenipotentiaries and the delegation of the CIS Executive Committee will meet with Brest and Brest Oblast authorities, will visit Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park, will lay flowers at the Eternal Flame at the memorial complex Brest Hero Fortress and will take part in an event to mark the start of the Great Patriotic War.
