MOSCOW, 17 March (BelTA) – Belarus plans to increase its exports to Albania, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia following the talks between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Russian Federation Igor Petrishenko and Albanian Ambassador to Russia Arben Gazioni on 16 March.
“The parties exchanged opinions on the most important issues regarding the bilateral agenda. Special attention was attached to the implementation of the existing potential in expanding trade and economic ties, expanding the line and volume of Belarusian supplies to Albania, developing the legal framework of bilateral relations, discussing cooperation prospects in international organizations,” the press service noted.
Diplomatic relations between Belarus and Albania were established on 17 May 1993. The bilateral trade totaled $16.15 million in 2014.
