
MINSK, 28 February (BelTA) - The 10th edition of the CIS Cultural and Educational Forum Children of the Commonwealth will be held in Belarus from 7 to 16 July, Chairwoman of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova said during the first meeting of the organizing committee for the forum in 2025, BelTA has learned.
“This event under the auspices of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly has been held since 2013. It was an initiative of Kyrgyzstan, and since 2013 the event was held in Kyrgyzstan. In 2021 the forum was hosted by Russia and in 2023 by Uzbekistan. On our initiative, in coordination with the president of our country, the forum will move to Belarus in 2025,” Natalya Kochanova noted.

The forum will bring together the children of the CIS countries. “We will hold the forum from 7 to 16 July in the health camp Zubrenok,” the speaker stressed. “The organizing committee will be headed by Sergei Khomenko [Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic.”
