MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) – Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Karanik has arrived at the 2025 International Medical Innovation and Cooperation Forum (IMICF), the press service of the Belarusian government told BelTA.
Speaking at the forum, Vladimir Karanik remarked that thanks to healthcare people have overcome many diseases, which used to be fatal, have learned how to transplant and even grow artificial human organs, have learned how to extend and improve the quality of human life. “Medical innovations are the key to it. It is they that allow us to do the impossible,” the deputy prime minister stressed.
In his words, everyone felt it when scientists came up with a vaccine against COVID-19 within several months.
“Nowadays in conditions of globalization when healthcare challenges become transnational, it is particularly relevant to organize events, during which representatives of the medical circles are granted an opportunity to talk about the most pressing issues facing the healthcare system, share their experience and best practices, and jointly find ways to solve problems,” the deputy prime minister noted.
Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Karanik is in China on a working visit. The key events include negotiations with Vice Chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference of the People’s Republic of China Shen Yueyue, a meeting with top managers of Chinese manufacturers of medical equipment, and a speech at the 2025 International Medical Innovation and Cooperation Forum (IMICF).
