MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) – Voter turnout during the presidential election in Belarus stood at 65.19% as of 14:00, BelTA learned from Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Vadim Ipatov on 9 August.
Voter turnout in Brest Oblast amounted to 63.5% of the total number of registered voters. The figure totaled 67.35% in Vitebsk Oblast, 75.83% in Gomel Oblast, and 65.75% in Grodno Oblast.
Voter turnout stood at 64.21% in Minsk Oblast, 72.57% in Mogilev Oblast, and 52.3% in the city of Minsk. Thus, the nationwide voter turnout reached 65.19% of the voters, Vadim Ipatov said.
